Teacher & Educator Expense Deduction Increase
For 2022, the IRS has increased the special educator expense deduction from $250 to $300. To claim this deduction, you must be a kindergarten through grade 12 teacher, instructor, counselor, principal or aid in a public or private school for at least 900 hours during the school year.
