The Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2020 allows you to deduct up to 100% of your adjusted gross income (AGI), in qualified charitable donations if you plan to itemize your deductions. Non-itemizers may claim an above the line deduction of up to $300 ($600 for married filing jointly) for charitable contributions made in cash. It isn’t too late to donate to your favorite charity!
